How this is calculated

  • • The Career Pilot Program requires 300 total hours — a mix of flight lessons, simulator sessions, and instructor-led ground training.
  • • Each lesson block is 2.5 hours long. Multiple lessons can be completed in a single day.
  • • At your selected pace, you need 200 lessons to complete the program.
  • Self-study is required outside of scheduled lessons — including FAA written test prep, oral exam study, and review between flights. This is not reflected in the timeline above.
  • • Projections assume consistent weekly scheduling. Weather, checkride scheduling, and personal availability may affect your actual graduation date.
